This week's Wisdom for the Weekend episode is about choices. It is specifically about making your own choices without feeling resentful or obligated to make a decision because someone else suggested it. Your body knows all the answers. Get still and listen.

Wisdom for the Weekend episodes are small doses of inspiration you can take with you as you go into your weekend. Think of these episodes as sacred medicine for your soul.  And with that, have a soulful weekend!

Anahita Joon Tehrani, a feminine leadership mentor, is blazing a path for women leaders. I first heard her speak when she was a on panel called The New Women’s Movement.  I love her mission, it resonates so deeply with me. We had a very inspiring conversation, during this time of the feminine rising; about power, oppression and more.

We jammed on:

  • Why women do not own their power
  • Learn how to break the oppression of women
  • How power is not separate from love
  • What freedom really means
  • Why self-pleasuring is so important
  • Her sensual and sexual practices

This week's WFW episode is about competition and comparison. What can we do instead? Shining the light on each other's gifts and our brilliance is what is so needed now. Competition shuts down our creativity. It is time to reclaim our sovereignty in ourselves and in each other.

Wisdom for the Weekend episodes are small doses of inspiration you can take with you as you go into your weekend. Think of these episodes as sacred medicine for your soul.  And with that, have a soulful weekend!

This week I’m joined by Emma Mildon, a Spiritual Assistant, #1 Best Selling Author and Spiritual Philanthropist. She connects with like-minded soul searchers across the globe and aims to provide fun spiritual wisdom to her generation. And, I have to tell you, after our chat I knew  I found a new soul sister.  We spoke about spirituality, daily rituals and more. After this interview, all I wanted to do was fly to New Zealand and spend all day analyzing our dreams, working with crystals, and enhancing our chakras; while pulling oracle cards with Emma. For those of you on the spiritual path, her best selling book, The Soul Searchers Handbook, is hands down the most comprehensive “bible” I have ever seen!

We jammed on:

  • Why Emma came out of the spiritual closet (much like myself)
  • Her daily rituals and practices
  • How she spiritually preps for her day using crystals
  • Learn how to find out your life path number
  • How to use crystals to enhance your chakras
  • Her use of the jade egg
  • Soulmates and how she met hers

This week find out what is your primary love language. The 5 Love Languages, The Secret to Love That Lasts, written by Gary Chapman, is one of the tools I use within the first few dates of meeting someone new.  It's amazing to learn not only about yourself, but also your partner's love language.  This is crucial for relationships and truly understanding your partner. Do you both speak the same language when it comes to love?
